Greetings and welcome to Rockfish Elementary School. We are an enthusiastic learning community dedicated to the task of fulfilling our mission to provide “a quality education for all students within a safe and supportive atmosphere where all feel secure, loved, and challenged." Our motto, Expect the Best, corresponds to the high self-expectations of our professional and highly effective team of educators. Just as we expect the very best from our students, we give our very best in order to accomplish our goals. High student achievement with continuous improvement is consistently realized at Rockfish as faculty, staff, parents, and students unite to create opportunities wherein students are encouraged to pursue academic excellence. The strong support base between home and school is a long-held tradition within our community and is a point of pride for three generations of scholars.
