While studying what the word “Volunteer” means in Social Studies the third grade students at Stedman Elementary collected items for children in Afghanistan. Students made posters to hang in the school listing items such as: notebooks, paper, pens, clothing, candy, etc. A parent, Robert Blount, is currently stationed in the area with the military. He was able to get the items to those children in need. Thank you to everyone who helped support this project!
Michael Dayton and Justin Coleman show their respect for the American Flag as they contribute their deed everyday of raising the American Flag on the front lawn of Stedman Elementary as the entire staff and students stand, placing their right hand over their hearts and recite the “Pledge of Allegiance” over the intercom system that can be heard inside & outside the school for all of Stedman to hear. Thank you, to all the 5th grade boys who do this duty each and every morning !
Please link your Food Lion MVP Card ! They give a portion of your total receipts back to Stedman Elementary School PTA.
