It was a beautiful day to celebrate the memory of our wonderful co-worker, Chanda Holst.  Family and friends gathered as we dedicated our Memorial Garden in her memory.  Many thanks to all those who participated, including the Cape Fear High School Wind Ensemble.

Cumberland County Schools sign that reads, Collaborate-Compete-SucceedCCS’ Next Superintendent: Tell Us What You Think!
The Cumberland County Board of Education has hired the North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) to help facilitate its search for the next superintendent of the Cumberland County Schools (CCS). The Board wants direct input from members of the community to help shape the search process and to assist in defining the qualities and characteristics desired in the next CCS’ superintendent.
